Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 June 2026

This document is provided in plain English to help you understand our practices. It is not a substitute for legal advice. If you have questions about how it applies to you, please consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.

This Privacy Policy explains how Blingwork Technologies Private Limited (“Blingwork”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use Tijarak (the “Service”). We have written this in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, write to us at hello@tijarak.com and we will explain.

1. Who we are

Tijarak is a product of Blingwork Technologies Private Limited, a company incorporated in India, with its registered office in Hyderabad, India. For any privacy-related question or request, contact us at hello@tijarak.com.

2. What information we collect

We collect only what we need to operate the Service and deliver your vault to your nominees when the time comes.

2.1 Information you give us directly

  • Account information: your full name, email address, phone number, and postal address.
  • Vault contents: the files, documents, credentials, diary entries, notes, letters, and asset records you choose to upload.
  • Nominee information: the names, email addresses, phone numbers, and relationship details of the people you nominate to receive your vault.
  • Billing information: if you subscribe, our payment processor collects your card or UPI details. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

2.2 Information we collect automatically

  • Authentication tokens: we use auth tokens (not cookies) to keep you signed in.
  • Service logs: IP address, device type, browser, and timestamps for security and abuse prevention.
  • Ping acknowledgements: a record of whether and when you responded to each weekly check-in, so we know whether the hands-off sequence should begin.

3. How we use your information

  • To operate your account and provide the Service.
  • To send weekly check-in pings across push, email, and SMS.
  • To start the hands-off sequence and notify your nominees if you miss five consecutive pings followed by a one-week grace period of silence.
  • To respond to your support requests.
  • To send important Service notices (billing, security, changes to this policy).
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • To comply with applicable Indian law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the contents of your vault for advertising, analytics, or model training.

4. How we store and protect your data

Your vault contents are stored encrypted on our servers. We use industry-standard encryption at rest and TLS in transit. Access to production systems is restricted to a small number of authorised engineers and is logged.

Server-side encryption means we hold the keys required to decrypt your vault for the purpose of delivering it to your nominees during the hands-off process. We are working towards stronger client-side controls in future versions of the product.

No system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a data incident that affects your information, we will notify you and the relevant Indian authorities as required by law.

5. Service providers we share data with

We share the minimum information necessary with a small set of trusted providers who help us operate the Service. They are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we instruct.

ProviderPurposeData shared
Firebase (Google)Hosting, database, authentication, file storageAccount data, vault contents, logs
TwilioSMS check-in pings and nominee notificationsPhone number, message content
MailgunEmail check-in pings, account email, nominee notificationsEmail address, message content

Some of these providers process data outside India. We rely on standard contractual safeguards to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.

6. Sharing with your nominees

The entire point of Tijarak is to share your vault with the people you nominate, on terms you set. When the hands-off sequence completes, each nominee receives a secure, personal link with read-only access to the portion of your vault you assigned to them. Nominees can view; they cannot alter, delete, or download in bulk beyond what you have allowed.

7. How long we keep your data

  • Active accounts: for as long as your account is active.
  • Cancelled accounts: we retain your vault for 30 days after cancellation so you can change your mind, then it is permanently deleted.
  • After hands-off: nominee access remains available for a defined period after handover, after which the vault is archived and then deleted in line with our retention schedule.
  • Billing and legal records: we keep these for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Delete your account and the contents of your vault.
  • Withdraw consent for processing where we rely on consent.
  • Export your vault contents in a usable format.
  • Lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@tijarak.com. We will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.

9. Children

Tijarak is not directed at children. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Tijarak after a change means you accept the updated policy.
