These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legal agreement between you and Blingwork Technologies Private Limited (“Blingwork”, “we”, “us”), a company incorporated in India, regarding your use of Tijarak (the “Service”). Read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. What Tijarak is, and what it is not
Tijarak is a digital vault that helps you store information about your assets, accounts, credentials, and personal notes, and arrange for that information to be passed on to the people you nominate if you become unreachable.
Tijarak is a storage and transfer service. It is not:
- A legal will, codicil, or any other testamentary instrument.
- A probate, succession, or estate administration service.
- A financial, tax, or legal advisor.
- An escrow, trustee, or custodian of your underlying assets.
Using Tijarak does not replace the need for a properly executed will or other legal arrangements in your jurisdiction. We strongly recommend you consult a qualified lawyer to put a will in place. Tijarak helps your nominees find and access what you have left behind. It does not transfer legal ownership of any asset.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to use Tijarak. By using the Service you confirm you meet these requirements.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide about yourself and your nominees.
- You must promptly update your nominee contact details if they change. We can only deliver your vault to the contact information on file.
- One person, one account. Do not share your account with anyone else.
4. How the Service works
The mechanics are simple, and the same mechanics carry legal weight, so we set them out here in detail.
4.1 Vault
You upload information you choose. It is stored encrypted on our servers. You can add, edit, or remove vault contents at any time while your account is active.
4.2 Weekly check-ins
Once a week, on a fixed schedule, Tijarak sends a check-in ping. The ping is delivered across three channels in a staggered sequence: push notification, email, and SMS. The cadence cannot be configured. A single tap or click on any one channel acknowledges the ping.
4.3 Missed pings and grace period
If you fail to acknowledge five consecutive weekly pings, a one-week grace period begins. During this grace period, a single acknowledgement resets the entire counter and cancels the sequence.
4.4 Hands-off mode
If the grace period also passes without any acknowledgement, your account automatically enters hands-off mode. We do not perform manual verification before this transition. By using the Service, you accept that the hands-off transition is automated and you are responsible for ensuring you can respond to pings or pause the sequence as needed.
4.5 Nominee access
Once hands-off begins, each nominee receives a secure, personal link to the portion of your vault you assigned to them. Nominee access is read-only. Nominees can view your records and notes; they cannot alter, add to, or delete the contents of your vault, and they cannot transfer ownership of any underlying asset through Tijarak.
5. Subscription and payment
The Service is offered on a subscription basis at the following prices:
- Monthly: $1.99 per month
- Yearly: $19.99 per year
- Lifetime: $199 one-time payment
Prices are shown in US Dollars. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.
Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Lifetime plans are a single payment that covers the Service for the operational lifetime of Tijarak; if we discontinue the Service entirely, Section 11 applies.
We may change prices for new subscriptions or at the next renewal of existing subscriptions. We will give you advance notice by email before any price change applies to your account.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
After cancellation, we retain your vault for 30 days so you can reactivate without losing data. After 30 days, your vault and all associated data are permanently deleted.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, unused time on annual plans, or lifetime plans, except where required by applicable Indian law.
7. Your responsibilities
- Only upload content you have the right to store and share.
- Do not upload illegal content, malware, or material that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Inform your nominees that you have named them, so they recognise the handover communication when it arrives.
- Keep your contact details and nominee details up to date.
- Do not attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities outside a formal security disclosure process.
8. Intellectual property
Tijarak, including its software, design, and brand, is owned by Blingwork. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal purposes only.
You retain all rights in the content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your content strictly as needed to operate Tijarak and deliver it to your nominees in line with these Terms.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly secure. We do not guarantee delivery of pings or nominee notifications via any specific channel; we use commercially reasonable efforts and multiple channels to maximise the chance of delivery.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or assets.
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to your use of the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100.
- We are not responsible for the actions of your nominees, your successors, or any third party that gains access to your vault after handover.
11. Service changes and discontinuation
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. If we discontinue Tijarak entirely, we will give you at least 90 days’ notice by email and provide a way to export your vault contents before shutdown. Lifetime subscribers who purchased within the 12 months before discontinuation will receive a pro-rated consideration as determined by us in good faith.
12. Account termination by us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, use the Service for illegal activity, or create risk for other users. Where reasonably possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to cure the issue.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
